SEBRING - Mr. and Mrs. Howard C. Wilhelm recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their family.
The former Gladys A. Bailey, daughter of the late Stallo and Mildred (Brinker) Bailey, married Howard Wilhelm, son the late Charles E. and Leeta Cope, were married on July 6, 1941 at St. Jacobs United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Carl W. Bormuth officiating.
Mr. Wilhelm retired from Spatholt's Hardware in Leetonia after 38 years. He also served in the 5th Armored Division during World War II.

Mrs. Wilhelm worked with her father in Sandy and Beaver Valley Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. She retired from the Warren Molded Products accounting department after 18 years.
The couple resides at Copeland Oaks, Sebring.
