NEW MIDDLETOWN - Randy and Kathy Petrella, New Middletown, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lynda M. Petrella, to James J. Seabrook, son of William and Kimberly Seabrook, New Waterford; and Jay and Cheryl Townsend, East Palestine.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science and is employed as an administrative assistant and dispatcher with the Canfield Police Department.
Her fiance is employed as a service technician with Comcast in Beaver Falls, Pa.

The couple is planning a Sept. 24 ceremony at Western Reserve United Methodist Church in Canfield. A reception will follow at the Youngstown Shrine Club in North Lima. Invitations will be issued for both.
