I just got done reading the letter to the editor in Sunday's paper and had to add a comment of my own.
I'm part of the Trinity Playhouse, which is a block down the street from the Steel Trolley, and believe me when we first painted our building we had some negative feedback on the color also.
I think Lisbon is a beautiful town, with the new library addition, the courthouse and village square. Why not add to that beauty by cleaning up the buildings with a fresh coat of paint?
The Steel Trolley has done a wonderful service by updating the buildings surrounding it. The colors are beautiful and welcoming to visitors.
Hopefully, the owners of other buildings will do the same by cleaning up and restoring their buildings.
