COLUMBIANA - Mr. and Mrs. Merle Kirkbride, Columbiana and formerly of East Liverpool, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 7 at the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church
The former Vera Hupp became the bride of Merle Kirkbride on Aug. 10, 1946 in Marietta.
Mr. Kirkbride is retired from the former Crucible Steel Mill as a pipe fitter for 37 years.

The couple have three children, Barbara (Larry) Baughman, Columbiana; Tom (Nancy) Kirkbride, Lisbon; Gary (Jeri) Kirkbride, Atwater; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
