HANOVERTON - Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brewer, Wisner Road, celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 15.
The former Mary Matlock, daughter of John and Helen Matlock, married Jack Brewer, son of Emmit and Vera Brewer, on July 15, 1961 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Cleveland. Father Hannon officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Brewer retired from the military after 20 years of service. He also retired from Penn Power after 11 years.

Mrs. Brewer worked at Quaker State for eight years.
They have two sons, Mark Brewer, Hanoverton; Mike Brewer, Charlettsville, Va.; and three grandchildren.
