STRATTON - Steve and Therese Zdinak, Stratton, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Bethany Zdinak, to D.J. Shaw, son of Rick and Laura Shaw, LaGrange.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Edison Local High School and a 2009 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in education as an intervention specialist. She is employed at Avon Local Schools as a third grade intervention specialist and track coach.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Keystone High School and a 2009 graduate of Ashland University with a bachelor's degree in integrated math. He is employed by Midview Local Schools as a high school math teacher and football coach.
