SALINEVILLE - John and Janet Ketchum, Main Street, Salineville, will celebrate their 40th anniversary with an open house, hosted by their children, at 4 p.m. June 18 at St. John's Hall, Summitville.
The former Janet Shaffer, daughter of John and Ethel Shaffer, married John Ketchum, son of Frank and Arlene Ketchum on June 12, 1971 at St. Jacob's Church of Christ, Lisbon. Harry Neilheiser performed the ceremony.
Mr. Ketchum is employed at DeNoon Lumber as a saw filer.

Mrs. Ketchum is a homemaker.
They have three children, John (Dee) Ketchum Jr., Virginia; Jarrod (Vickie) Ketchum, Salem; and Jaimee Rhodes, Salineville. They also have six grandchildren.
