LISBON - Mr. and Mrs. John R. Glenn Sr., state Route 45, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at the Salem Golf Club with a celebration hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The former Millie Mankin became the bride of John Glenn on May 26, 1951, at the Nazarene Parsonage in East Palestine. Rev. Paul Baxter Jr. officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Glenn owned and operated John Glenn Mining.

Mrs. Glenn was a homemaker.
They are members of the Salem First Friends Church.
The couple have three children, Katheryn (Skip) Craig, John (Rebecca) Glenn Jr. and Bruce Glenn, all of Lisbon; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
