EAST PALESTINE - Amber Sue Pettigrew became the bride of Jordan Edward Thompson, in an Aug. 21 outdoor ceremony at the East Palestine City Park.
The bride is the daughter of Beverly Burson, East Palestine.
The groom is the son of Franklin and Cheryl Thompson, East Palestine.

The Rev. Pam Price officiated the double ring ceremony.
Escorted by her grandfather, James Burson, and given in marriage by her family, the bride wore an ivory taffeta ballgown that featured a jewel neckline, ruched bodice and sweep train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of a dozen ivory Gerbera Daisies with a blue butterfly accent.
April Pettigrew, Negley, served her sister as maid of honor in a clover green dress. In cornflower blue dresses of varying styles were bridesmaids Allison See and Christina Phillips, both of East Palestine; and Rachelle Robb, Negley. Flowergirls were Alexus Robb and Breanne Phillips.
Joel Thompson, Huntington, W.Va., performed the duties of bestman, for his brother. Groomsmen were Jared Thompson, brother of the groom: Jason Hewitt and Brendan Gillis, all of Salem.
A reception, attended by approximately 100 guests, was held at the East Palestine Country Club.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple resides in East Palestine.
