COLUMBIANA - William and Cathy Hoover, Columbiana, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Laurie Jean, to John Alex Heintzelman, son of John and Candy Heintzelman, Columbiana.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Columbiana High School. She is also a 2009 graduate of Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pa., where she earned a master's degree in occupational therapy. She is currently employed as an occupational therapist at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, Howland.
Her fiance is also a 2004 graduate of Columbiana High School. He graduated from Youngstown State University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in combined sciences and will graduate from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in May with doctor of medicine degree. He is currently pursuing a medical residency in family medicine within Ohio.
