NEW WATERFORD - Ellis and Mary Ann Hawkins, New Waterford, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 29 at a family dinner at Blue Wolf Tavern. The dinner was hosted by their children.
The couple married Jan. 27, 1951 at Our Lady of Lourdes, East Palestine. Msgr. Joseph Heid performed the ceremony.
Mr. Hawkins retired from the Neff Co., Canfield, in 1992. He also served as a military policeman in the army during the Korean conflict.

They are members of St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana.
The couple have four children, Terri (Bob) Ruggiero, New Waterford; Greg (Joann) Hawkins; Mitch (Fredda) Hawkins, all of Columbiana; Amy (Mark) Harrold, New Waterford; 10 grandchild and two great-grandchilden.
