LEETONIA - Bob and Lois Mesmer celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28 with an Hawaiian Luau party at Big Rock Lake, Leetonia, with over 80 family and friends attending. The party was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The couple were married on Aug. 26, 1950, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, New Springfield, by Reverend C.B.A. Stacy.
They have four children, Bob (Marty) Mesmer, Alan (Deb) Mesmer, all of Leetonia; Kim (John) Talbot, Wilmington, N.C.; and Ann (Randy) Zeigler, Woodbridge, Va. They also have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
