ROGERS - Kenny and Lynda Gumbel, Sprucevale Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 28 with a reception hosted by their daughters and family members.
The couple was married on Aug. 27, 1960, at the East Palestine Lutheran Church by the Rev. Carl Duwe.
Mr. and Mrs. Gumbel are still active in their family dairy farm.

Mrs. Gumbel is retired from the Calcutta Giant Eagle bakery department.
They have four daughters, Barb (Kevin) Farmer, Debbie (Rob) Cable, Cathy Gumbel, and Mary (Jim) Ash, all of Rogers. They also have four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
