COLUMBIANA - Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. McMurray celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 27 at The Links Banquet Center at Firestone Farms with a party hosted by their sons. The brunch buffet was attended by family and friends.
The former Rebecca Jane Reese, daughter of Everett and Helen Reese, became the bride of Robert P. McMurray, son of W.H. and Helen McMurray, on June 18, 1960 at the Columbiana First United Methodist Church. Rev. W.S. Longsworth officiated the ceremony.
The couple have been members of the church for over 50 years.

Mr. McMurray retired in 1991 from the East Ohio Gas Company after 40 years of service.
They have two sons, Robert P. McMurray II, Cleveland; and Rodney McMurray, Columbiana. They also have on grandson and one step-grandson.
