EAST LIVERPOOL - Wendy Ann Williams, became the bride of Shawn Golden on May 22 at the First Free Methodist Church in East Liverpool.
Pastor John Smith officiated the ceremony attended by immediate family members and close friends.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Patricia Williams, Lisbon.

The groom is the son of Donald and Ruby Golden, East Liverpool.
Amy Williams served her sister as maid of honor. Brooke Lambert served as junior bridesmaid and flowergirl was Courtney Williams, both nieces of the bride.
John McGaffick, performed the duties of best man. Usher was Garrett Williams and the ring bearer was Jackson Lambert, both nephews of the bride.
A reception was held afterwards in the church reception area.
The bride is a critical care registered nurse at Akron City Hospital and a 1988 Beaver Local High School. She is also a 1993 Youngstown State University graduate. In the fall she plans to enroll in Kent State University's Women's Health Nurse Practitioner masters degree program.
The groom is a professor at Kent State University where he teaches computer classes and is currently working on his Ph.D. He is a 1989 graduate of East Liverpool High School and a 1994 graduate of Youngstown State University. He is a former East Liverpool High School teacher.
Following a honymoon to Hawai, the couple reside in Boardman.
