COLUMBIANA - Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Monske celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 30 at the Boardman Holiday Inn with a party hosted by their children. Family and friends attend the event.
The former Priscilla M. Fabry married Robert Monske on April 30, 1960 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
Mr. Monske served with the Ohio National Guard and retired from Ameritech after 25 years of service.

Mrs. Monske attended Youngstown State University and retired from the Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center in 2002. She also served as a sign language interpreter for the deaf community and taught American Sign Language classes throughout Mahoning, Columbiana, and Trumbull Counties.
They are both active members of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church, where they have been members for 40 years.
The couple have three children: Linda Osborne, Fort Worth, Texas; Lisa (James) Codner, Youngstown; and Robert J. (Paula) Monske, Struthers. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
