GUILFORD LAKE - Mr. and Mrs. James Gano, Votaw Boulevard, will celebrate 50 years of marriage during a family reunion held at the family residence Saturday.
The former Glenda Shasteen, daughter of Glen and Eleanor Shasteen, became the bride of James Gano, son of Gorden and Helen Gano, June 19, 1960 in a ceremony performed at the Columbiana First United Methodist Church. Rev. William Longsworth officiated.
Mr. Gano is employed as a GM engineer.

Both are members of the Winona Methodist Church.
The couple have three children, Mrs. Richard (Kristen) Wise, Wadsworth; Kevin Gano, Macomb, Mich.; and Kenneth Ganeaux, Rosemary Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
They have requested that gifts be omitted.
