EAST ROCHESTER - Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Smalley, Ellyson Road, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 3 p.m. open house Saturday at the Hanoverton American Legion, Second Street. The open house will be hosted by their children and covered dishes are welcome.
The former Mary Jane Ford, daughter of the late William and Samantha Ford, Kensington, married Cleo Smalley, son of the late Floyd and Betres Smalley, on March 1, 1960.
The couple have four children, Michael Custer, Lenard Custer, Pam Lewis, all of Hanoverton; and Raymond Smalley, East Rochester. They also have seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
