COLUMBIANA - Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur H. Martin, 422 Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, were honored on the occasion of their 66th wedding anniversary Jan. 24 with a family open house reception at their home. The reception was hosted by their children and grandchildren with relatives welcome from 2-4 pm.
The former Winifred (Winnie) L. Martin married Wilbur Martin before the fireplace in the same house where she was born and now currently resides, in a ceremony conducted by the Rev. J.K. McDivitt of the Columbiana First Presbyterian Church on January 23, 1944.
Mr. Martin was a self-employed farmer and worked at The National Rubber Company.

Mrs. Martin was a milk inspector for the former Tech Dairy in Boardman, and later read meters for the Village of Columbiana.
The couple have three children: Robert (Judy) Martin, Louise Best, all of Columbiana; and DeErla (Ed) Schaefer, Greenford. They also have seven grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren.
