Gary SeegerNovember 11, 2009NORTH LIMA - Gary M. Seeger, 66, of 1434 Yerian Road, North Lima, Ohio passed away early Tuesday morning, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home following a brief illness. Mr. Seeger was born on June 6, 1943, in New Springfield, Ohio, the son of Herman and E. Eileen (Lambright) Seeger. Gary was a 1961 graduate of New Springfield High School and in later years obtained a Stationary Engineer License. Mr. Seeger owned and operated Seeger Country Club Shell on Youngstown Poland Road for five years and worked as a manager for the Ohio Turnpike for three years. He also worked at the New Springfield Service Plaza, U.S. Steel of Youngstown as a foreman from 1976-1980, at Hartford Steam Boiler from 1980-1987, and at Cincinnati Corp. as an Engineer until his retirement in 2007. In 2007 he purchased All Bulbs in North Lima, Ohio, and was currently an owner and operator with his son Garrison. Mr. Seeger was a member of the Beaver Ruritan, the Allen Lodge #276 F. & A.M. of Columbiana, the Fraternal Order of Police, Cool Time Cruisers where he had won many trophies over the years exhibiting his cars in shows, National Rifle Association and the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club. Mr. Seeger is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Hamm) Seeger, whom he married on Aug. 21, 1965. Other survivors include one son, Garrison Seeger of Columbiana, Ohio; one brother, Lynn (Pat) Seeger of East Palestine, Ohio, and one grandson, Daryan. Mr. Seeger was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Seeger and Cindy Mulhall. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
