SALEM - Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Jones, West South Range Road, will be honored on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 8 at their home. The open house is hosted by their children Robert (Vicki) Jones, Salem, and Jane (John) Mihalko, New Springfield.
The former Betty L. Arkwright and Robert Jones were married July 30, 1949, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown.
Mr. Jones is semi-retired and working as the owner/operator of an excavating company.

Mrs. Jones was a teacher with the South Range School District, retiring in 1996.
They are members of the Zion Hill Church of Brethren in Columbiana.
The couple also has eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
