COLUMBIANA - Two men were killed and three other people injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle accident on state Route 164 north of Renkenberger Road in Beaver Township.

Larry Blakeman, 52, Leetonia, and Charles Montgomery, 79, Struthers, were both pronounced dead at the scene by an investigator from the Mahoning County Coroner's Office.

Michael Montgomery, 56, Poland, and Robin Montgomery, Poland, were transported by medical helicopter to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. June Montgomery, Struthers, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. There was no word Thursday night on the extent of their injuries.

According to the Highway Patrol, Blakeman had been driving south on state Route 164 when his 1994 Geo Prism went left of center and struck a northbound 2008 Saturn Vue driven by Michael Montgomery. Charles Montgomery, Robin Montgomery and June Montgomery all had been passengers in the Saturn Vue.
