Rohrers celebrate 50th

WASHINGTONVILLE - Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rohrer, High Street, celebrated their 50th anniversary Feb. 8.

The former Judy Weikart, daughter of the late Mary and Russell Weikart, married Walter Rohrer, son of the late Harold and Twila Rohrer, on Feb. 8, 1959, at the Robbins United Methodist Church, Washingtonville. The Rev. Robert Ferguson performed the ceremony.

Mr. Rohrer retired as a tool and die maker from Sekely after 34 1/2 years of service. He was also a carpenter.

Mrs. Rohrer worked for 20 years in the Leetonia Schools cafeteria.

They are members of Fireside Sam's Camping Club and Tri-State Antique Auto Club.

The couple has two children, Mrs. Richard (Melanie) Stelts, Leetonia, and Mrs. Mark (Colleen) Dattilio, New Waterford, and one grandson.

They were honored in April with a family dinner at the Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh.
