Columbiana crash

Robert E. Gauntt Jr. of Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was transported by Columbiana Fire/EMS to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown following a single vehicle roll-over crash on Columbiana-New Waterford Road in Columbiana at about 8:30 p.m. Gauntt was heading northeast toward Columbiana when he reportedly drove off the right side of the road, riding down through the ditch until he struck a culvert at a driveway, causing the 1995 Chevrolet Blazer to roll two or three times coming to rest on its roof. Gauntt was conscious and talking while he was extricated from the SUV by Columbiana firefighters. The accident is being investigated by State Trooper Barry Thompson.
