LISBON - Mr. and Mrs. John Thoman, North Avenue, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 13 with an open house hosted by their children from 3-6 p.m. at the Mt. Nebo Grange, state Route 45, Lisbon.
The former Barbara Mills, daughter of the late Emil and Wilma Mills, married John Thoman, son of the late Karl and Anne Thoman, June 13, 1959 in a double ring ceremony performed by Rev. Thomas Hammerton at the Elkton United Methodist Church.
Mr. Thoman retired from truck driving after 42 years.

Mrs. Thoman retired from the Columbiana County Law Library after 15 years of service.
The couple have three children, Tami (Phil) James, Hanoverton; Tina (Don) Coleman, Elkton; and John (Karen) Thoman, Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren.
