Feichts celebrate golden year

COLUMBIANA -Bruce and Carolyn Feicht, Springfield Road, celebrated their 50th anniversary with several family dinners locally and in South Carolina.

The former Carolyn Harris married Bruce Feicht on March 28, 1959 at Calvary Evangelical Brethren Church, North Lima, with the Rev. William Seith officiating.

Mr. Feicht is the son of Howard and Dorthea Feicht, Greenford.

Mrs. Feicht is the daughter of James and Lettie Harris, North Lima.

Mr. Feicht was a teacher for 30 years at Columbiana High School and Wellsville High School. He also coached basketball, track and football. He owned Feicht's Antique Auto Restoration.

Mrs. Feicht was employed at General Fireproofing, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp., and was co-owner of Feicht's Antique Auto Restoration. She was also assistant girls track coach at Wellsville High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Feicht are members of the Nazarene Church, Columbiana.

The couple have three children, Todd (Diana) Feicht, Salem; Joel (Betty) Feicht, Forth Worth, Texas; Julie (Joe) Lee, Fill Mill, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
