60th year for Waterford couple

NEW WATERFORD - Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Grossen, New Waterford, celebrated 60 years of marriage March 12.

The former Mary Bell, daughter of the late William and Mabel Bell, married Marlin Grossen, son of the late William and Blanche Grossen, on March 12, 1949 at Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers.

Mr. Grossen operated Crystal Springs Fruit Farm and retired from Lawless Industries as a welder. Mrs. Grossen retired from General Electric after 18 years as a purchasing agent.

The couple are active members of Zion Lutheran Church, New Waterford.

They have four children Thomas Grossen, Joyce (Keith) Keslar, and Sandy (Jay) Nunamaker, all of New Waterford; and Paul Grossen, Cleveland; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Their family held a private dinner in their honor and held a family trip to the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh.
