LISBON -Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hiner will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Feb. 15 with a private celebration thrown by their children.
The former Rose Tafini, daughter of the late Robert and Ambrosine Tafini, married Gary Hiner, son of Jenny and the late George Hiner, on Feb. 15, 1969 in a ceremony performed by Father Stewart J. Platt at St. George Catholic Church, Lisbon.
Mr. Hiner is a self-employed roofer and owns Hiner Roofing.

Mrs. Hiner is a clerk of courts at the Columbiana County Courthouse.
The couple have three children, Mrs. Mike (Melanie) Chidester, and Mrs. Rueben (Melissa) Dowd, Lisbon; and Matt Hiner, Granite Falls, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.
