NEW WATERFORD - Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Shope, Waynewood Drive, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday with a family celebration.
The couple were married on Jan. 17, 1959 at St. Mary's Church in Beaver Falls, Pa., by Msgr. Vincent J. Rieland.
Mr. Shope is retired from St. Joe Minerals in Monaca, Pa.

The couple are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, East Palestine.
They have three children, Roberta Shope, William Shope, and Mrs. James (Beth) Oberdick; and three grandchildren.
