COLUMBIANA - Charles and Scherry May, Park Court, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 30 with a small family dinner.
The former Scherry Shaw married Charles May on Aug. 30, 1958 at the Church of Christ in Lisbon. The Rev. Glenn Logston performed the ceremony.
Mr. May has been employed with Grim's Welding, Early Trucking, and as a strip miner for Moore Coal Company.

The couple have five children; Brenda Sue (Damien) Condon, Amy Paparella, Charles (Suzanne) May, Clarence "Butch" (Jenny) May, and Scherry May; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
