I'll sign the dotted line, with blood if need be. Give me some fracking money!

Well I'm signing and regardless what a lot of you say on here I bet when the time comes you will too. It's not often in life you get money for nothing. It'd be foolish to pass up this opportunity.

Normally I do not wade into the murky waters where the MJ bullies swim however, since there seems to be a case of mistaken identity, I will join in now to set the record straight. I am Dianna Elzer. If I felt the need to defend anything that my husband does from a group of ill-informed cowards, I would do so under my own name, not hide as those that throw stones on here do. You may not agree with the stand that Don Elzer takes, but at least he takes a stand. It is easy to sit back and complain in a forum such as this and pounce on anyone that differs in opinion when no one ever has to know who you really are. Man up, if you have a problem with a village issue that arises, get on the agenda at a council meeting by making a request prior to noon on the Friday before a council meeting. If you cannot attend a meeting, send Don an email, his address is listed on the Village website. Leave me and my personal life out of your feeding frenzy. It does not concern anyone on this site.

I believe my "offer" of help was ....read, call, and check things out without jumping blindly into something like this. And to NOT just rely on town officials to do right by its citizens. Nothing negative in that. It's called using your head and looking into things.

Seems Jimbo and Crusier want to run the town. Maybe they should run for council themselves instead of acting like dictators. Such negative people.

Busmom, You are one of the most negative people on here. You are quick to bash everyone and everything but never once offer a genuine suggestion to help

People of East Palestine, check with people you know in the field, read up, call other towns that allow this, get their information and thoughts...you will be surprised and what you hear and are told.

Cruiser: You must be a council person or related to one...you must feel high on your horse, thinking the people of the village don't matter and that not paying your property taxes is ok. YOU are the ones that need to get OUT. You have YOU at interest, not the town...your comment just proved that. And to Jumbo: to tell people to move out...that's really telling them! That's a REAL solution to helping the town grow and possibly prosper in the future. It only shows You also have no stake in the town and it's well being. You both only showed your true colors...greed and negativity ...greed for yourselves and negativity towards the town. I hope every person in the town reads this forum....

People in this town just love to complain and only see the negative in everything. I agree Indiana, all you people that have an issue with the way things are run here, do something about it or leave. You're a bigger reason why this town is in the shape it's in then the people in charge.

Oil and Gas drilling does not pollute the water supply at all. My fiancée works for a Well Service. There's a lot more to drilling than most people know. There is money within the Oil and Gas drilling, and it's not up to us on here complaining about their decisions unless you are one of the people whom they may need land from. Welcome to America where every government of whatever level is corrupt. Its life. Deal with it, move on or move out of the city.

This village ought to be ashamed of itself and "most" of the people running it. They do NOT have the best interest of all people in the village or else this would not be even a thought.

I love how people can sit in front of a computer and judge. I would imagine these same people get all of their so called information from facebook or the newspaper but have never bothered to ask a question face to face or show up at a meeting to get the whole story.

People....wake up. It is not about the money. It's about clean water, and unpolluted land. It's about a village that can't spend 2cents properly, why would they have your best interest in this? It's about doing your homework...don't let them run roughshod.... and then...MAKE THIS VILLAGE ACCOUNTABLE!

Jason please do your research first before telling others to do their research. Signing bonus is paid upfront unless you choose not to sign and it is forced. 2nd even if forced they will still get money if they recover gas under your property. Forced people will not get signing money. Hope this helps inform you better.
