Requiring people to pay with a "cashiers check or money order"!? Excuse me Mr. Sheriff but have you EVER taken a look at the U.S. Currency?? It is CLEARLY printed on the face side of each note, "THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE". Since THE Sheriff's Dept. IS A public ENTITY you MUST accept the cash yet your statement would make me believe that your reason, "Cash is to much trouble". There for, you REFUSE to accept it for any debts! WOW!!!!! I see a court challenge coming your way Mr. Sheriff.

Entirely agree. If, as a sherriff's office, you receive ANY payments in cash, you have to take all of them that way. Are fines only payable by cashier's check or money order? This is just more liberal palaver in an effort to interfere with good, honest people who want to protect themselves from criminals...like liberals. They won't be happy until you are ground under their collective thumbs.

Isn't a conceal carry permit just a form of registration? I am sure that all the criminals apply for a permit before robbing a store. I can see a court challenge coming somewhere down the line when folks realize that these will be the first guns seized by the government when the time comes.
