Believe me Sassy, not worried about your town, but you should be.

Maybe you should worry more about your own community and less about mine.....

Then, if you find my comments disrespectful, maybe you and your fellow residents need to partake in local affairs more often and not read what is posted. Seems, others agree with my statement. I do find your negative comment offensive.

Jason, I commend you for your service to our country. I have nothing but respect for our servicemen and veterans. But, I also have respect for other communities. As a "model citizen" for more than 50 years from our county's "model community," I find it somewhat offensive and disrespectful to continuously read your derogatory remarks about the community, citizens, and schools in Colimbiana. No matter what story is printed about Columbiana, you must make fun of it. For your information, this city is no different than any other community in the county. You seem to think we have a false belief that we have no crime, drugs, or welfare. Yes, our schools are excellent, but certainly not perfect either. The citizens of Columbiana have selected to live here for a reason. Why? Because it is a clean and relatively safe community with many wonderful resources. Most importantly, it is a very caring community with many respectful individuals.

sassy46: Simply because I have the constitutional right to comment on what I believe to be truth and I served my country to help guarantee that right for not just me, but all you people. So, what's the problem? Tell me something, are you one of those naïve people who believe your elected officials and their cronies are right? Sounds like you are. Unfortunately, I fought for your right to do so, along with many people like you. So be it!

Just curious Jason....Why do you always feel the need to make negative comments about "our county's model community and district?"

I knew you were going to say something about this Jason :). I too am surprised hear of any drugs whatsoever in that community. Perhaps those in leadership are learning that they cannot sweep things under the rug forever.

Come on, our county's model city and district doesn't have a drug problem, so why a new policy?
