So Elzer thinks he can just bypass or ignore state law, is that it? And where was the law director when all of this was being proposed? Isn't she supposed to be checking this out before it reaches council, to make sure it's all legal to begin with? Why is it that Cohen is the one that has to point this out and not Ms. Smith? What exactly is she paid to do? Elzer wants to set up his own little kingdom in EP, tax everybody for everything and stick his nose into everyone else's business. Meanwhile, he can't even handle his own businesses, just creates one mess after another. I say get your own house in order before you start telling others how to run theirs.

Well said. Elzer has done more damage to this town than most know. We need business and he wants to know how to control it. Smith on the other hand should NOT be the law director, she has failed with the fracking contracts and does not know Ohio law.

And the beat goes on..... Smith sits there and does nothing all meeting she has no clue as to what she is doing, and dont let Figley fool you, he is licking his chops to run for Unity twp trustee, not that he has been to any meetings or anything, he just wants the Insurance. All politics for the wrong reasons

What is ironic is this is what happens when personal agendas take over. Nothing is in the best interest of the town they were appointed or elected to serve. Once again, everything is subject to attack and scrutiny simply because Smith, Elzer and Figley haven't a clue to what is going on. Elzer attacks business with stupid legislation, Smith condones it regardless of Ohio Law and Figley jumps on the Fire Department because he can't tell an EMT from a Fire Fighter. All three are nothing more than incompetent jokes in public eyes.
