Fear-mongering? Isn't that a little bit melodramatic? Have you been in the school? leaky roof is an understatement. Pieces of the ceiling fall down. After one of our last storms, there was a puddle of black, drippy goo that dripped down from the ceiling. The kids are in rooms with buckets catching drips. Here's an idea, why don't you put forth some real ideas of how to "tighten the belt a little" instead of just trying to be clever. Our kids are our future, and the best investment we can make, and investment that the MAJORITY of voters in OTHER school districts were willing to make.

Wait, so the Superintendent can't guarantee top notch schools because voters didn't approve to fix a leaky roof? Really? Come on now. I don't see how he draws that conclusion. He's fear mongering. Here's an idea. Tighten up the belt a little, cut some other spending, continue to educate the kids and you should be able to guarantee top notch schools regardless of everything else.
