The camera company is trying to pull a fast one. That seems to already show that they will be falsifying all the records. They'll have it set up to where the camera shows someone going 50 in a 35 when in fact they're doing 35 in a 35... SCAM!!!! Law suits abound! And the village of Rogers is perpetuating such a scam.

I can see the village dissolving. Once the locals have had enough it won't take long for the ouster of officials to take root.

Maybe Negley will follow suit, Stop all the speeding that goes on through Negley, another county race track on the way to the sale. Actually, Negley does it with a 4 way stop, why not the same at RTE 7 and 154 at Rogers, but the goal here is not to prevent speeding, it is to steal money from drivers. You just don't pay a company "commission" for catching traffic violators. I thought it was illegal for this because it does encourage cheating. I know some of our local judges would throw a lot of these cases out, and I will guarantee you if I ever get a ticket, I will protest it, with evidence because I can record a trip with my GPS.

I live near Rogers and this will limit my travel through. Many ways around. Not much there anyway. Save a Lot, the Inn, and the new Dollar Store will probably see a reduction in revenue then the council will complain about this. Why not seek ways to attract business instead of stealing from those that pay taxes. Speed cameras are questionable almost every. If someone takes this to court who will represent the Village to say they actually saw the breaking of the law?

I am guessing since they enacted a tax below voters' ability to stop, they will drive the sale into the ground and it will take a long time to come back. The officials in Rogers will stop at nothing to keep their salaries intact, regardless of the impact. I have been skipping town and going from the south to get where I want to go. Same as Leetonia.
