I agree that those place in Hanoverton needed torn down...but do people realize that they tore them down and there was asbestos in them! Not only did they expose citizens to it when they tore it down but the material was burned at Hanoverton Motor Cars or whatever they are calling it since it went to sheriff sale and someone they know bought it back (sounds shadey to me)...so they BROKE THE LAW by burning the asbestos!!!

If they wait long enough maybe those who want their house torn down for free will do it by themselves. I'm tearing mine down right now and never asked for a hand out from the county. I would guess it is a tax issue. You have to tear the house down at certain points to get more tax relief. If you wait till later in the year you pay full taxes.

I am glad they did not wait. Those two houses were an eye sore that needed to be torn down a LONG time ago. Good to see them down!!!
