Columbiana mayor disputes councilman’s statement

Nice to see our county's "model community" step into the center circus ring! Wonder how long before it becomes an all out war with personal agendas to retaliate? I forsee a doomed community with no cooperation within its ranks.

Let the games begin! And Blakeman is out of the mayoral race gate first with dirty politics. Run to the papers and sling allegations against his innocent opponent. Blakeman has taken a page from Dirty Politics 101. Blakeman is still peeved that his guy was not hired and now Blakeman wants to be mayor of Columbiana so he's going to do whatever, and I mean whatever, it takes to win. Don't fall for it people of Columbiana. I'm watching this from the outside and Blakeman is a snake. I don't have a dog in the hunt but I hate to see my hometown reduced to petty BS/backdoor politics and that is exactly what Blakeman has brought to this council and now the mayoral race. I live in a large metropolitan area and I see this type of dirty politics daily. Just look at the newspapers and the reports and ask yourself, is Blakeman and his actions what you would want your child to emulate? The answer is clear.
