"...rallying against the non-union tendencies..."

...such as not taking a 15 minute break every half hour or not halting production after 3 hours when the quota is met or not having a quota or not making their staff pay union dues or making their staff feel bullied by union thugs...Yep, seems picket worthy.

If they want to unionise why don't they go with the steel workers? The steelworkers union has done wonders for American Standard. Look at Sheet and Tube, Crucible, J&L in Alliquippa, B&W in Koppel, all good unionised plants, like L W Nash and Kenmar in East Palestine. Remember the union motto "screw them, let them shut down, we will go get another job".

The union was kicked out years ago. There was a reason for it.

The pic is a good example of a UAW union member and the policies it encourages!

Before I receive a bunch of notes that I am not American or just anti-union, I voted union last time. But this article was extremely slanted, it failed to mention that the employees of Ventra refused the union by a majority vote within the last 10 years and the overall opinion within the plant is that they still don't want a union. The article mentioned an employee flipping them off, but it failed to mention that the membership was blocking the view of traffic to exiting traffic, this should be illegal its called obstruction of vision. I am a subscriber to the paper and wish you people could get both sides of a story prior to publishing it.

Wow where do I begin...for starters I worked at this plant when it was Wortington industries and they tried to get a union then and it failed. The people who work at this plant(most of them)don't want a union. My question is WHY does the UAW feel that it is their business to come someone else place of enployment and picket..REALLY!!!! I no longer work there but my husband does and I can only hope it was him giving the obscene gesture!!! UAW mind your own business. I don't need my husband losing his job. My husband has been there for 24 years and we do just fine.
