tombo467: And how many vacant store fronts downtown? More than down RT 14 to the east? Your drama on council is a start of things to come. I have nothing invested in either town, but I see several distinct issues that are similar. You have a select few running your town, those are the ones who will do the most damage. You need to do some more research before posting. It's happening right under all your noses and you don't see it.

East Palestine has gone from a city back to a village. They are going to lose PNC. The town is shrinking. Columbiana went from a village to a city and is still growing. We have a full industrial park and no open industrial areas. We have 2 PNC's. I have nothing against East Palestine, but to think because we have a little drama on our council that gets publicized doesn't mean we are headed down the same path. Columbiana has balanced budgets and are nowhere close to bankruptcy.

Stop comparing Columbiana to Palestine. Not even close.

That "fraternity" issue is what brought another neighboring town to it's knees and the brink of bankruptcy.
