And another thought, OE will NOT cut any new business a break on power. SO, how does this community plan on offering new prospective business a place in town? Water, sewer and tax breaks aren't an issue, but power is. Doesn't the Developmental Committee know this? Surely someone does! Your former council of 40 years ago signed the Death Certificate for your community with that under the table sale to OE! Who made out on that sale? Not the town or customers! Had East Palestine kept their distribution system, they would have been very much in the game with the town they try to be like, Columbiana!

Good luck with Edison! This will cost them lots of money and it will be a slow process. Never should have sold the distribution system to OE. Had that not been done, the Village could have replaced it or it possibly never would have happened due to local upkeep!
