EAST LIVERPOOL — Joan Betteridge, 86, of East Liverpool, died Thursday at the Orchards of East Liverpool following an extended illness.
Born Dec 29, 1932 in Gloucester, England, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Thomas Wintle and Blodwin (Lewis) Wintle. A homemaker, she moved to the United States in 1953.
Survivors include a son, John Betteridge of East Liverpool; three daughters, Christine Jackson of East Liverpool, Jenny Croft of Lisbon and Kelly Betteridge of Highlandtown; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Holland, five brothers and one sister.
Services will be 5 p.m. Monday at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor Norm Eckert officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral.
