D. James Czech II

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — D. James “Jim” Czech II, 61, of Anchorage, a former area resident, died Sunday at his home after a sudden illness.

Born in East Liverpool on Nov. 8, 1957, he was the son of D. James and Nancy Butcher Czech.

He worked for GCI Communications in Alaska as a project manager the past 20 years. Previously, he worked for Baker Engineering, initially as their aerial photographer.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jacquie Martin of East Liverpool.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where Pastor Larry Rose will conduct services at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be at Calcutta Cemetery.
