LISBON — Beth Marks-Conlon, 57, of Lisbon died at home on Jan. 11, 2019. Beth was born in Rochester Pa. on May 22, 1961 a daughter of the late Denver Marks Sr. and Mary (Robinson) Marks. Having lived most of her life in the area she was a graduate of Beaver Local High School Class of 1979 and held a degree as a pharmacy tech from the Ross Medical Education Center. She had worked as a training coordinator for B and T Trucking for 17 years.
Beth was very dedicated to the Scouting Program. She served many different positions at both the district and council level.
Beth is survived by her son: Andy Marks and his wife Lana of Calcutta; two brothers: Denver Marks Jr. (Stacey) of Salem; three sisters: Patricia Brand (Mike) of Valdese N.C.; Laurie Marks (John) of Negley and Bonnie Kirkpatrick (Terry) of New Cumberland and 1 granddaughter and her spunky sidekick: Mia Marks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Fred Conlon, who died in 2010.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home Calcutta Chapel on Wednesday January 16, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday January 15, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
