KOLKATA, India — Steven Jeffrey Taylor, 60, of Bathinda, India, formerly of East Liverpool, died Nov. 19 at AMRI Hospital in Dhakuria, Kolkata, India, unexpectedly with lung cancer.
He was born Nov. 2, 1958 in Columbus, the son of Louise McIntyre of East Liverpool, and the late David K. Taylor.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and worked as a national air traffic controller. He was currently operating Carmel Convent School in Bathinda, India, which he owned and operated with his wife since 2010.
Survivors include his wife, Rinky Roy Taylor of Bathinda, India; children, David Taylor of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Angela Bermudez of Beaumont, Calif.; siblings, Maria Taylor of Hagerstown, Md.; and Robb Belser of East Liverpool; and four grandchildren.
A private service will be held for the family at Riverview Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Dawson Funeral Home.
