Jack Moore
WELLSVILLE — Jack L. Moore, 67 of Wellsville, died Sunday at Trinity West in Steubenville following a lengthy illness.
Born Aug. 1, 1951 in East Liverpool, he was the son to Betty D. (Dock) Moore, of Glenmoor, and the late Edward J. Moore.
Jack worked as a truck driver for Heritage Transport, retiring in February of 2016. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Longs Run Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Porter) Moore; five daughters, Kelly Barnhart of Columbus, Nicole Willis of Pittsburgh, Melissa Barnett and Amber Anderson, both of Wellsville, and Barbie Zupko, of Pylesville, Md.; a brother, Andrew “Rusty” Moore of Glenmoor, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jack E. Moore.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor Timothy Bauler officiating. Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
