COLUMBIANA — Samuel G. Madden, 88, of Columbiana died Thursday at Whispering Pines Village.
He was born Oct. 23, 1929 in Petersburg, the son of the late George and Ethel Kerr Madden.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He had worked as a salesperson for Kraft Foods.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ramsey Madden; and a sister, Arlenne Kline.
Survivors include a son, Gregory Madden of Lancaster; and a daughter, Peggie Paulk of Austintown.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, with Pastor Fritz Nelson officiating. Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.
