Daniel Wells
AKRON — Daniel B. Wells, 64, of Olive Street, died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday at the Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.
Born April 4, 1954 in Salem, he was the son of the late Gerald Eugene Wells and Pauline (Shaffer) Wells Hampson.
He was a Jehovah’s Witness and had worked as a machinist at NRM for many years.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Ray Wells Wade of Missouri; sisters, Charlotte Hingle of Earlton, N.Y., Mary Ann Roudebush of Norton, Barbara Nedrow of Henderson, Nev., and Hazel Lemasters of Hanoverton; brother, Benjamin Wells of Cleveland; and four grandsons.
His son, Daniel Wayne Wells, preceded him in death.
Following his wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed. Private burial will take place Friday morning at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home, Lisbon, is in charge of arrangements.
