HOLLAND — Shirlee (Beck) Bell, 87, of Holland, formerly of Salem died Monday.
She was born June 23, 1931 in Salem, the daughter of late Rolland Glenn and Hazel Mae (Taylor) Beck.
She worked at and taught radiologic technology at Salem hospital for 30 years. Mrs. Bell and her husband began a school for radiologic technology at the hospital and eventually moved the program to Kent State University Salem Campus, where she was an instructor and later assistant to the dean, retiring in 2001.
She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Salem and a current member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Toledo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Bell; a brother, J. Wendell Beck; and a sister, Jean Katherine.
Survivors include a son, Evan Glenn Bell of Toledo; a daughter, Bronwyn Eleen Bell of Holland; a sister, Betty B. Caldwell, of Sebring; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church Chapel in Salem, with the Rev. Doug George officiating.
