Lisbon — Clayton Anderson, 77, of Trinity Church Road, Lisbon died Wednesday afternoon at his home with his family around him.
He was born March 2, 1941 in Sandgap, Kentucky, a son of the late Pearl and Margarete Jones Anderson.
Clayton moved from Kentucky to Florida working for Good Year Tire and Rubber before coming to this area where he resided for 30 years. Clayton loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish and being with friends. He enjoyed meeting people and never knew a stranger. He loved to talk and people enjoyed listening to him tell stories.
He will be missed by his wife Kathy Pierce Anderson at home; three daughters, Debbie Bernard of Covington, Kentucky, Karen Anderson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Roxanne (Joseph) Riggs of Lisbon Ohio; one brother, Ronnie (Sharon) Anderson of Kentucky; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Anderson and four brothers, Paul Anderson, Virgil Anderson, RB Anderson and Lewis Anderson.
At Clayton’s request there will be no calling hours or service.
The Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
